So I had a very interesting team building exercise at work that allowed you to gain some insight into what kind of person you are.
Let’s start with introverts and extroverts.
It can be hard to mediate between which of these you most identify with, because it’s mostly contextual. I mean I love hanging out with a group of my friends, but in a group of friends and strangers – not so much.
The easiest way to tell if you’re more introverted or extroverted is in terms of feeling and energy. If you’re the type of person that gains energy from being in a social setting, you’re more than likely and extrovert. However, if you’re like me, you need some time alone in order to recharge the batteries.
Now, here come the colours.
If you’re an extrovert, you’ll more than likely fall into the categories of RED and YELLOW.
Let’s walk through these together and find out which one most sounds like you.
RED – Your key drivers are achievement and success, you thrive on speed, efficiently and challenges most of all. These are your natural born leaders who are risk takers, competitive and focused on winning!
YELLOW – Your key drivers are enjoyment and novelty, you love freedom, fun and being creative. You dislike rigidity and protocol because they are too restrictive on your imagination and genuine openness.
Both of these individuals draw similarities in the way they fully engage with life and try to get the most out of it in every way.
If you identify more with the introverts, you will find semblance with BLUE and GREEN.
BLUE – Your key drivers are order and correctness, you love detailed, factual and objective information. Logical thinker, you plan meticulously and have a keen eye for organisation. You follow rules, discipline yourself and are primarily process driven.
GREEN – Your key drivers are for helping others, protecting and caring. You love harmony, teamwork and familiarity in your environment. Very loyal, considerate and appreciative individual who puts others first.
I would note here that no one is completely identified with one particular colour, however we do have our own personal proclivities towards one in particular.
For example, I am both a RED & BLUE individual, which i found quite interesting. I learned I would benefit more from being more of a team player and open to new ideas.
What kind of person would you say you are?
