How You Become Your Thoughts.

“Watch your thoughts, they become your words; watch your words, they become your actions; watch your actions, they become your habits; watch your habits, they become your character; watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”

Lao Tzu

I wanted to share with you a gift of wisdom from one of my mentors today.

When I read this it’s struck me very hard. How can one put into words so simply how we can govern our behaviour to a new ideal future.

Beginning with thought, take pause and think about what you are mentally giving your energy towards – stress, overthinking, anger or sadness?

Negate internal states of thought caused by external forces. You decide how it makes you think, then you decide what you say and do.

If you do this enough you will instil the habits of an optimist, who sees light in darkness, whom always sees opportunity in misfortune.

You pick your destiny – just think it up & the rest will follow.
